We're looking for a few good manuscripts!
If you have a story that's compelling and well-written, we
want to see it.
If you have a book that helps people in some way, we want to see it.
We're in the business of entertaining and informing. If you have a
work that fits the bill and is ready for market, we want to talk
to you.
Please Note: We correspond via email. All materials must be included in the body of the email. (That
means no attachments.) Do not mail your query; we will not review or respond to any hard copy submissions.
In the subject line of your email, use the term PLP Query – name of your manuscript – genre. For example:
PLP Query – Much Ado About Something – fantasy
For Nonfiction, please submit:
- a query letter including:
- your name
- title of your work
- topic
- the title of a book similar to yours
- how is yours unique?
- your qualifications as the author and your bio
- who will be interested in buying it?
- what platform have you built? (web site, blog, Facebook, LinkedIn, classes, public talks, etc)
- an outline of the book
- the first chapter (any font, any line spacing; 1/2" indent for paragraphs – no extra line space)
For Fiction, please submit:
- a query letter including:
- genre
- word count of your completed manuscript
- the title of a book similar to yours
- a brief author's bio
- what platform have you built? (web site, blog, Facebook, LinkedIn, classes, public talks, etc)
- a complete synopsis (up to 3 pages)
- the first three chapters plus the last chapter of your manuscript (any font, any line spacing; 1/2" indent for paragraphs – no extra line space)
